2006 Season - Week 11

Trading Day 2

18 players came and went as owners got serious for the stretch run. In all 11 owners made changes to their teams with Chief making 3. A big BUMS thanks to Cheryl for the food. As always instant analysis is ridiculous but it’s still fun. H was the biggest winner with both of his newbies scoring as he ended the day up 12 points.. Most Popular/Unpopular teams The Cinderella New Orleans Saints have added 4 players during the 2 trading days, more than any other team. Chicago, Cleveland and NY Jets have all added 3 a piece. Amazingly The Mighty Oakland Raiders have been the most unpopular losing 4 players whilst New England, Pittsburgh and Washington have lost 2 each. Injured Reserve The Eagles may be losing another player from the BUMS rosters as Donovan McNabb is to be put on IR. With Trading over that means Mark may select a replacement. George also gets the chance to replace Amani Toomer who is also on IR. Remember you must stay within the $10m budget. Meanwhile Chief will have to play the rest of the year one man down as his Franchise RB Lamont Jordan is out but Chief has spent all of his budget. Remember you must get your replacement to me before the first game of the week starts which will be on Thursday evenings from now on. Tremendous Tomlinson LaDainian’s second TD on Sunday night was his 100th. He has made 100 faster than any other player - 89 games, Jim Brown & Emmitt Smith had held the record at 93. LT is on a special roll, since Trading Day 1 he has scored 24, 9, 18, 18, 24 & 24 pts. That’s an incredible 117 in just 6 weeks & alone he has outscored the entire French Letters team over that time. He also has more TD’s than 18 of the 32 NFL teams. Special San Diego On Sunday San Diego set NFL history twice. They became the first team in 12,328 games to come from 17 points behind in 2 consecutive games. They also became the first team to win 4 consecutive games when allowing 24+ points in each game. BUMS on Seats. Thanksgiving @ BUMS HQ on Thursday from 5:30pm for Sky’s Tripleheader then HQ again on Sunday at 6pm for the Saints @ Falcons and the Bears @ Patriots.
